Initial Data Transfer Sync Issues
I am a current iPhone user, but recently bought an HTC One (M8) to make the switch. I've already got all of my apps loaded on the new phone and am ready to take the plunge, but getting data synced over has been trying. A few things that I have found so far with using the HTC Sync Manager to import an iPhone backup:
1) MMS meessages with attachments did not import at all.
2) Messages with multiple participants, which I believe are also MMS, imported, but do not display the contact name associated with the number.
3) Audio Recordings do not appear to have synced over. I can probably manually copy these, but can some one confirm where they should be?
4) For a lot of contacts, my iPhone had many duplicates, like up to 5. This was one one the things that drove me nuts, but some of them haven't migrated over.
5) Is there a way to get my voiceMails which are stored on the iPhone transferred over to the M8?
The biggest issue is probably the MMS with attachments not showing up. Can any one report a way to make that happen? Ideally a free method since I am only doing it once?
Any thoughts or suggestions on the others would be nice too.
