If I leave official wireless charging back on the pad, will it remain 100% charged forever?

I want to get the official Samsung wireless charging flip cover
and the official Samsung mini wireless charging pad.

If I leave the S5 on the charging pad, will it remain charged
forever? (like when it's being charged with USB cable plugged
in) For example... will charging stop when the battery goes
to 100%? If so, after several hours of sitting on the pad, it
goes down to 95%... will the charging resume and charge it
back up to 100%?

Thanks!

Maybe,

Several threads on that unit and the history is saying that it hits 100% and turns off.
Then the phone starts discharging.

I'm using a different unit that fits inside the original case and does not bulge the back.
It does keep the phone at 100%

I currently use the OEM wireless charging back cover for mine and it seems to stay at 100% when I wake up. Last time it was blinking probably because I might have accidentally bumped it when sleeping,

Keep in mind that once the battery is full charged that charging will stop and remains using the wall power instead of the battery.

I'm a little unclear about what you meant. Are you saying that the phone will
consume power directly from the charging pad, WITHOUT the charging the
battery?(when it's already at 100%)

Thanks! :)

My phone stays at 100% once done charging. In the past my Droid Maxx would stop charging and at that moment my standby time would start counting. On my Samsung the standby time doesn't count down until I remove it from the pad.

This is with a Tylt Vu Qi Pad + OEM Qi Cover.

The power source comes from the wall where you plug in. And yes once fully charged the phone will consume power from whatever charging method you use either the charging pad or from the USB.

Is yours working well? I read some reviews and many said it didn't work with their S5 and some said their phone gets really hot.

The phone continues to say its charged in the battery info until I remove it.

Yes: No issues with the one that I use. The pad gets a bit warm to the touch, but not hot.
Works every time... If Battery Doctor is on screen when I lay it on the pad, it starts charging "instantly". If not, it takes a while for it to start charging. a curious situation that I never investigated. Not worth my time.

For the ones that "don't work", they probably need to lay a narrow piece of business card over the charging contacts area. a 1/2" square or less will do the job. w/o that, it is a sometimes thing.

I have the same set up as you (S View Charging Cover and mini). It has always been 100% when I wake up.
