Just got my buds today. I have 5 new cases total, but I'm starting with my Poetic Affinity. All I need now is my Galaxy S20+ that should arrive on or before my birthday on 3/5.

That poetic case looks great. I really hope the Buds plus are better with call quality. The previous 1st gen Buds for calls were so bad I decided to buy air pods pro.

The sound quality on my 1st gen buds is decent. The call quality on the Buds+ is supposed to be really good, based on the video reviews. The ONLY thing I don't like about the Buds+ is they're not water resistant...can't let water get to them. That's not a deal breaker for me.

The price of the air pods pro is absolutely ridiculous. I would get the Jabra 75t buds, before those.

I did think about that. The Jabra 75t aren't noise cancelling and the Sony stick out the ear. The call quality on the air pods pro are incredible.

I thought the buds + were ip68 rated.

For what they cost, I would expect nothing less.

Been using my buds for months. Constant long hour work calls. Zero issues.

He doesn't say the Buds+ are better. He compares both. As soon as Samsung does noise cancelling they will be on par. But also remember as soon as they do include noise cancelling they will have to increase the price. His biggest point is that for 100 less you can get the buds+. If the Buds plus have great call quality I wouldn't care about noise cancelling.

I didn't say he said they were better. He's asking a question....are they better. It's a matter of whether or not noise cancellation is worth $100. For you, it is...and that's fine.

I've been using the Buds+ for a while and the call quality is alright but not great from what people tell me on the other end. As far as noise cancellation, I don't see it as a necessity in an ear bud since the passive noise isolation is pretty good.

In my opinion, Poetic kinda copied the design of UAG. I've been using UAG since I think my s3 days? That's the classic UAG design.

But I have bought the poetic as well. The gen I got didn't have enough screen lip for my particular liking however.

The Samsung protective rugged cover is pretty dang awesome to be honest.

In my opinion, Poetic kinda copied the design of UAG. I've been using UAG since I think my s3 days? That's the classic UAG design.

But I have bought the poetic as well. The gen I got didn't have enough screen lip for my particular liking however.

The Samsung protective rugged cover is pretty dang awesome to be honest.

UAG looks heavy and bulky. I've never seen one up close, so I don't know if that's just my eyes. The second gen Affinity is even better than the first...and I loved the first.
