Impresses by gorilla glass 4 on edge+

I've been using the edge plus since release day on t-mobile, and I'm extremely pleased with the way the glass holds up against nicks and scratches without a screen protector. My past phones (iPhone 6, s6, note 4) did not share similar luck.


What are your thoughts on the gg4? Have you had the same luck of going naked and not having any scratches or nicks??? Share your thoughts!

I'm inclined to go naked because it's a beautiful display. But I'm also scared of scratches

I got a scratch on day one because of the horrid plastic S-view case and no screen protector. Best I can assume is a bit of dust or link got in between the cover and screen and had a rave because nothing goes in that pocket except my phone. I was furious and have since returned the case and put a protector on the screen.

I can only imagine!! I try to look over little scratches, but they come up like little annoyances.. I'm just waiting on spigens clear crystal protector and then it'll be all good

Why not keep it in your pocket without any other items in it? Most pants come with 4 pockets.

I have had my phone for 3 days and already I can just make out extremely fine scratches under the right lighting. I am being very fussy but they are there, all 3 of them. I am extremely careful with it aswell. It will be left at home until I get a screen protector.

Over two weeks with the phone and I can see faint scratches. I always take care of my devices. This time around I just wanted to see how it durable it'd be without using a case and screen protector. They're only obvious if you're looking for them, but definitely invest in a screen protector if you want to keep it in mint condition.

Are you sure they weren't there from the start? Lots of EDGE users report tiny micro scratches on factory-new phones

I would never use any phone without a screen protector. Period.

I have perfection OCD and if my phone has a single scratch, I would sell it.

That's why every phone I buy, I put a screen protector +hard shell cover on it so it's always in mint/ brand new condition.

These are very expensive phones after all.
