Re: Bestbuy Mobile Lets me Keep Unlimited Data?
GOOD NEWS!
I got my UNLIMITED back, but got the warning "If you upgrade again you will lose your unlimited data". After a few phone calls, pretty much me just being a persistent s.o.b, the 3rd supervisor we talked to turned it back on. I originally got an email this morning at 9am stating that my ticket was still pending and I would be contacted when "new" news came to light. I went crazy and called back. 3rd time was the charm I guess. Threatening to leave and all of the paperwork I guess was in my favor. It was probably easier to just turn my data back on then go through the whole returning of phones, crediting money back to my account and then cancelling my account all due to a small $30. Anyways, I'll never do this again I don't recommend it to anyone unless there out of other options. Next time I want to upgrade I will use the dummy line method, LOL. Anyways, DayThyme, I just wanted to say thanks for all the help, mostly the encouraging words. Sounds like an acceptance speech, lol. No really, your good guy to help everyone out here.

- A couple questions though before I let you go. I saw you talking about protection plans above. You said I can go with Asurion, Best Buy or Apple Care. I had an HTC Rezound before I purchased my iPhone 5s the other day. I have a protection plan called the Total Equipment Coverage (WPP + EW), Advanced Devices.
- Does this plan even work on my iPhone, I've had it for like 2 years now, is this the Asurion plan your talking about. I also didn't know that since I purchased my phone through BB that maybe the protection plan was now voided? I forgot I even had the plan still.
- Out of the big 3 which would you recommend? Should I call Verizon and get them to take that protection plan off? I have Apple Care for my iPad Air and was told it increases the value if you try and sell the iPad, that the Apple Care transfers with it, makes the device more valuable. What are the cost of each plan? The plan I listed above, the one that I've been on for 2 years costs $9.99, I just looked a my bill.
- I was thinking about returning my 32gb model and buying the 64gb, just paying the extra $100 or whatever last this week. BB said I have 15 days to return our phones and get our upgrades back. Can I go ahead return mine for the 64gb or will the cause issues to my unlimited data again. I'm assuming that BB would have to activate it again. I will not go through this again if so, I'd just keep the 32gb, LOL.
