What happens if I have UDP and a couple of months to go before my line is eligible for an upgrade...if I purchase a device from BestBuy for the subsidized price?
Can I complete the purchase of the device for that special price??

My UDP acct has no upgrade until July and my contract end date is the same date.
Hopefully I am wrong-
1) does this mean I cannot buy a subsidized phone EARLY at BB (to later sell on Swappa) ?
2) if I buy early a subsidized phone does that start a new line charge on the acct right away?
My goals are to remain under contract AND keep my UDP

I recently did the bbm, I swapped sims for 2 UDP lines and it worked with no issues. One of the phones is having issues with the earpiece making crackling noises (especially when trying to make phones call). I'm within the 14 day return policy. Will I have problems with exchanging it at the store and keeping the UDP?
Bump! Anybody have any ideas??Okay, I can't resist the S7 Edge anymore--my S6 edge is just awful. Here is what I have right now:
L1: S6 Edge UDP Not eligible for upgrade
L2: M8 UDP Eligible for upgrade
L3: G3 TDP Not eligible for upgrade
L4: Basic phone
Goal: Use L2's upgrade on L3 to get an S7 Edge on L1.
Method/Question 1: Would it still be possible/prudent to transfer the upgrade from L1 to L3 on Verizon's site, and then order the phone straight through Verizon (or Best Buy) for L3, then activate it on L3 for a few hours, before transferring the S7 Edge to L1's SIM card? (I think this is how I got the S6 Edge)
Method/Question 2: Should I order the S7 Edge on BB's site as an L2 upgrade, and then just use the SIM from L1 to activate the phone? I've heard that this method has become riskier as of late (that's how I got the M8)
Or, I'm completely open to any other idea. I'm not crazy about doing private sales, however.
TIA!

First of all you said you want to transfer line 1 upgrade to line 3, but from what you posted line 1 doesn't have an upgrade. So?
This is what I would do. Transfer upgrade from line 2 to line 3 (using Verizon online) buy the phone you want and have it mailed to you or even pick it up in store.
Activate the phone on line 3, maybe sure everything works. Line 2 should end up with a new two year contract still be UDP.
Go online and put old phone from line 3 back on it. This will free up the be phone, you can now put it on line 1 and should not have a problem. You can never put that phone on line 2! If you do you will lose UDP on line 2.
