Joe: I wanted to transfer an upgrade from the #### line to the #### line. Upgrade that line, then add an additional line for my daughter and get a bogo device.
Miranda: May I please have the account billing password for verification purposes? It is different than your online password, this password will be 3 to 5 characters long. This is the same one you use when you call in to pay a bill or go into a store.

Miranda: okay what bogo device are you looking at
Joe: HTC One M8
Miranda: okay so with the bogo deal you have to either have 2 upgrades or 1 upgrade and add a line so it looks like you are set for that
Joe: Ok. My concern is I do not want to jeopardize my unlimited data by giving my upgrade to my daughter. Will my data plan be preserved?
Miranda: once you upgrade to a new phone you will be moved to the MORE everything plan
Joe: That's a problem. Doesn't make sense to me. Can you explain why?
Joe: The 2 devices getting the phones will both be tiered lines. If they go over their limit, I will pay for it.
Miranda: it is because we no longer offer unlimited data. but i do know that customers that are on the unlimited data plan are being offered 6GB for the price of 2
Joe: I use approx. 15 gig monthly on my line.
Miranda: to avoid giving up your unlimited data you can also get a phone from a friend or family member
Joe: If I don't do BOGO & just transfer my upgrade to my daughter, will that preserve my unlimited data?
Miranda: if you just add your daughters line you will be able to save your unlimited data
Joe: So any upgrade transfer kills the unlimited?
Miranda: that is correct.
Joe: Blah. That's disappointing. Last question. Since the contract on my line is up, I can remove my line from this account and go to another carrier?
Miranda: let me double check that for you
