Not really, really this thread has been taking the wrong post, because it's a matter of style.. Android or Apple you choose! :)

Its in the DEVELOPMENT thread of ANDROID central. So yes I feel this thread is unnecessary. Plus there have been 3 other threads already. But that's just my opinion.

How about Virgin gets us more wimax devices like the Samsung Galaxy S2 ( epic touch ). Now if they give us that with the ics update then I'm satisfied. IPhone is for whoever wants it, all I know is Android :D

They added the iPhone to point everyone towards the evo. ;)

I agree, its to migrate some users off the 3g network and get the majority of us on 4G wimax till 2015 in that time Sprint will be prepared to give us prepaid LTE

Flash is getting very old and unreliable now. I can now see why Apple isn't going towards Flash. HTML5 is the future.

If anyone doesn't already know, the VM iPhone is already out. No, I will not be getting one because of the horrible coverage in my area. There is absolutely NO 3G in my area at all unless I go about 9 miles over to the next town. Then the so called "3G" is often like that of what we used to get using archaic 56k from the stone age of the internet. Voice coverage is just as bad where I live and I consider myself lucky to even hear the phone ring consistently. A lot of times it does not because I get at best two bars of service even outside of my house. There are times where I have had to go about three or four blocks just to make a call or get my voicemail messages.

Data is another story. 1x is the best I can get all over my area, and half the time it doesn't even work for that. And let's not forget about VM nickle and diming us to death for just about everything under the sun. $10 for a number change here, increased prices for those of us who buy our monthly refill on Pinzoo, forcing us into the higher rates if we change our phones, etc.

Their service is crap, at best, and their so called "customer service" is outsourced, probably in India or somewhere. You're just wasting your minutes talking to them since you cannot understand them in the first place, and at the same time they don't understand you or what issue you have which often results in frustration that makes you want to throw your phone against a brick wall.

As soon as I am able, I am leaving Virgin Mobile for a better company. I am currently unemployed, like I am sure there are many who are in the same boat right now. $25 a month is really just money down the crapper using Virgin, and I, for one, won't be falling victim to what they are trying to do by wooing everybody with fancy jack of all trades phones when they know they need to focus on what obvious. Their network.

So, you came to the Optimus V forum, in an iPhone thread, to troll on Virgin Mobile?

Everyone's coverage is different. Mine is great. It's all a matter of researching companies before starting service and seeing who is best for you as far as coverage, selection of phones, and plan features.

Virgin can't "focus on their network." That is Sprint's job, which they are doing a pretty damn good job of lately, in my opinion. A complete overhaul of their 3G network on top of upgrades to 4G (not WiMax, but "real" 4G.)

I hope you are able to find what you're looking for, but please don't expect everyone to have the same experience as you.

1) This post has NOTHING to do with the iPhone.
2) Maybe if you did your research before investing money on a phone company, you wouldn't feel the need to troll on a thread, let alone the wrong thread.

Please take your trolling elsewhere, not I or anyone else here is impressed.

I personally see no need or reason to purchase an iPhone. This phone does almost everything an average person would want to do and then some considering its price tag!. Aside from video chat of course. I am at the 35 dollar plan unfortunately I was not with them to get grandfathered in. Still I feel it's the best bang for your buck. As others have said service is all in where you're at and even then sometimes it's more than that! I sometimes get 14kb/s in the same exact spot that I would get 140kb/s +. Honestly it seems like it's based on the time of day etc. As for customer support in this day n age honestly what can you expect.... lol. Goodluck elsewhere!!!

Not anytime soon. We could get the Nexus S 4g though.

Don't expect a Nexus S unless priorities change at Google or manufacturers, which is unlikely.

Google has no plans to do any more Nexus for CDMA because of the proprietary drivers required.

There was a rumor on some other sites that the galaxy s2 (4G epic touch) was heading to boost mobile.
