I pulled the trigger from S8+ to an S9+. For me it fixes a lot of the "buts" the S8+ had when it came out. What I mean by "buts" is that I'd tell myself: "It's a good phone but it's missing (insert item here)" often enough to justify the upgrade.
These were things other phones started coming out with and my S8+ lacked or shortcoming in the case of the FP reader. Planning to keep the S9+ for a couple years at least, I wanted to take care of those "buts" first. I realize it's not a drastic redesign or leap forward but it checks a few boxes the S8+ missed.
- Dual cameras.
- 6 GB RAM.
- Fingerprint reader placement.
- Stereo speakers.
