Is the camera any better?

Possible. Video recording + real-time processing + light running could put a strain on it. When I'm filming long events I'll actually turn some stuff off like image stabilization to keep it running cooler over the long haul. My S7 would overheat and shut down with everything running and recording for long durations. If you need to do it I would at least turn some of the real time processing off like image stabilization.

But without the flash won't night videos be too dark?

I don't film at night, sorry. If you have to film at night I would get a separate light source to be honest with you. I seen a video of this guy who filmed hiking through this abandoned train tunnel and he had a pretty dramatic light setup attached to his chest!

As much as I want to keep it at $300 bucks and as much as I need another fast wireless charger, I just cant seem to like this phone enough. What's the return policy? I see they say it must be recieved within 15 days, so am I supposed to ship it within like 10 days of my arrival?

You'll get natural bokeh on the S20U so that's not a defect, it's the desired outcome they have all been trying to replicate using computer algorithms for years. Honestly two compressed photos are hard to test to see what's better, would need a gallery link to full resolution uploads for a real comparison.

Yup, so much for mega detailed 108mp lol.
The 108mp setting is really only good for well lit situations as the pixels are smaller and can't allow much light in than say a standard 12mp sensor so it would suck in indoor or low light situations. The 108mp sensor is really supposed to shine with pixel binning to 12mp where it can gather all that info and combine it. Samsung definitely as some improvements to make with that pixel binning that's for sure tho.

You have 15 days after receiving to initiating the return. Meaning you'll have the ability to initiate return even on 14th day. After that you just send the phone and it's fine if they receive past 15 days. You won't be able to initiate the return after 15 days. So as long as you can initiate the return which is within 15 days you are good to go.

As i suspected would happen, all 3 s20s are being lumped and judged together. It's hard to piece together which phone is doing what.

Is it possible to get another forum for the s20/S20 plus. Or can people specify which model they have?

It seems like 98 percent of people bought the Ultra, which is insane 😱

Actually, it'd be nice if there were more S20/S20+ reviews out there from trusted sources. I don't know if this is a Samsung thing, wanting the press to cover the Ultra, or the press only focusing on the Ultra. Regardless, it's obnoxious. The S20/S20+ have completely different sensors.

Initially they sent out only Ultra for reviews and unlike us most reviewers aren't going to spend their own money for devices. From what I hear they sent the smaller S20/S20+ only closer to release date. I believe more reviews should start dropping this week on YouTube and other sites. Android Central already has one because Samsung Canada sent all 3 phones to Daniel Bader in Canada unlike Samsung US which only sent the Ultra initially.

Did anyone else notice that Ultra wide angle lens is washed out compared to S10 and Note 10? I get much more details on my Note 10 then S20 on every single photo using that lens

Nope. My Ultra is way better.

By Ultra I didnt mean Ultra model, capped by mistake. I mean ultra-wide lens. I hardly doubt mine is defective.

Didnt you say you have Note 9. I am comparing to Note 10. Main lens on S20 is a bit better, but now I am noticing wide one is alot worse

Ultra-wide Note 10
Honestly look about the same just positioned different. Case in point the S20 has more of the orange SUV and the Note has more of the black car to the right, but marginally the wide angle distance.
