Issues So Far with GSIII

Thanks, but I've tried that already. It enlarges the lettering but it doesn't adjust the wording to the page. Sentences and complete words still run of the screen window. As shown below.

There's 2 bars. Adjust the one for zoom double tap. Works fine for me.

I have done nothing relative to power savings and I use my phone from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM non stop for work which amount s to probably and average of 25 emailsl, a dozen texts and anywhere from 12-25 phone calls and I still have 40% left at the end of the day.

Screen timeout is set to 2 minutes, GPS is typically on along with BT and WIFI.

Is it possible you're in a low 3G signal and it's searching either for that or a phone signal.

I am on WIFI for half the day when I am not in my car.

That's the one I adjusted. I may just download a browser.
Thanks though.

So...does the OP want to update the 1st post to keep a running list of problems/solutions?

It seems a few "issues" are user error not knowing how to set the phone the way they would like....it would be nice to have these all in one place so people can refer to them.

Just a suggestion...

or maybe a new thread started by a mod that could be "stickied" is in order here?

It may avoid another "does the international case fit my phone?" thread...just sayin':p

think there has been more then enough of those:confused:lol poor forum noobs

This phone is amazing and I think its years ahead of the gs2.. Much richer screen, lighter, way faster, no lag like the gs2, better audio, battery life is amazing!!! ( based on the Att version) Im getting 16 hours of battery life..If you are having battery problems its because of Sprints horrid network. This phone is simply amazing the best phone to date. The only problem I have is that facial unlock is glitchy.

I could not do that fit afyer zoom either. Nor does it work in Dolphin hd or crome

Check your WiFi settings...settings/WiFi/advanced/keep WiFi on during sleep.....mine was set on always from factory. Everyttime screen saver turned on the phone would switch to WiFi....took me awhile to figure out

I have one issue, i have my wifi turned off and it randomly turns on and I get the available wifi notification in my status bar (as if it found a list of available wifi's to connect to).

I clearly didn't turn the wifi on, it automatically turned on / wake up and is searching for a signal.

I have had my Galaxy SIII for a couple of weeks and generally I am very impressed with it
The key issue I have is getting it to connect to Bluetooth devices. I have a Navman GPS in the car which has a handsfree BT feature built in It will see the phone but will not connect. It also will not connect with the BT device in my wifes car or my Blue Ant headset. This feature is critical for me and to date I have not found a solution

Alright, I'm officially frustrated. Anyone having issues with the phone not ringing/notifying you of an incoming call when you're playing games or surfing on Wi-Fi?

I've missed lots of calls now, and people think I'm ignoring them.

I tried to see if there's any settings for internet/programs running over incoming calls etc but can't find any. I've seen these options on other phones...

Please tell me I'm looking in the wrong place and there is an over ride some place???

Are you guys seeing this on ALL web pages? Auto-fit won't work when certain elements are on a page (like large pictures).

I did not find a page where fit after a zoom works. I am talking about the zoom with the two fingers and not the zoom after you double tap. I tried crome and dolphin too with no success. It is anoying. My sg2 did that very good.
