I can't move anythiing from the phone to SD. I'm using an app called APP2SD pro and it says "this device does not have a real primary external storage, or the primary external storage is emulate". I tried another SD card and got the same message...Also, after binding with my car's bluetooth , the two don;t connect on subsequent entries...any ideas would be appreciated
You won't be able to. The SIII 16/32gb is not partitioned like the SII. App2SD was made because phones like the SII 16GB is partitioned, 2gb main for apps and 14GB for pics videos etc. 2gb is not enough for apps, so the program helps you move it to the phone internal 14gb "sd" memory or a physical external sd card.
On the SIII, you have a dedicated/unpartitioned full 16/32gb for apps (and everything else) so the app can't move it. The phone also doesn't recognize any partition or internal "sd" memory to move apps. There probably won't be an update for this, as Samsung would need update first and then the app? Or, app2sd would need to find a work around?
I know I'm probably not explaining this correctly, but because the phone itself would have to recognize or find the partition/internal memory to have the need to move it. Therefore, you have the option to move the app to a different memory slot, like a physical external sd card.
IMO: You don't have too much to worry about. For example: I have the white 16gb and 32gb external sd installed. I use my external 32gb for my pics, video, movies, music, ringtones, etc. My internal 16gb is strictly for apps/games. I'm using almost 2gb (70 +apps/games) right now and have everything I want loaded. So besides another few games or apps in the next few years, I'm set. Don't think I'll ever push more than 5gb of apps/games, because that would mean I would have over 120-140 apps/games (depending on size).
The only thing I could see a problem is buying movies from Google/Samsung/etc because that will put them on my internal 16gb phone. You have a few movies and it will eat up space fast.
***FYI: I've also found out that Google Play movies do not pay on the Samsung stock movie/video player. Therefore, the picture in picture kick butt feature doesn't work.***
