It's very frustrating seeing all of the hype/promotions for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Don't get me wrong its a fantastic device but so is the EVO 4G LTE (other than the multi task issue). I'm so pissed @ HTC and Sprint for not marketing better and putting a spotlight on this phone. It's like when the border fiasco happened they gave up and tucked their tails and gave up. Samsung took advantage of their weakness and have dominated since the S3 came out.

I could give a dam. Why does it matter? If you have the phone and like the phone what does it matter really? Personally I have yet to see a s3 commercial but I see the evo commercial at least twice a night.

Looks like HTC has abandoned the Evo Lte in our country. They already said they were removing marketing focus from the states and moving it to China. It's essentially an enthusiast model at this point. Even before the marketing fiasco, it had an uphill battle due to the poloarizing design that got so much attention. And because of that, cases for the EvoLte are big business. HTC needs to review notes on their only successful handset, the original Evo, and start from there for their next effort.
Or meet Palm's fate.

The X is already $99. Evo Lte is not far behind. Carriers gotta figure out a way to get them out of storerooms.

Yeah, I've seen both commercials, but the SIII commercials saturate the channels I watch. I rarely see the EVO commercial. Heck, I see SIII ads on websites I visit. Samsung is going all out with the promotion of their flagship device.

EVOs have always been nice phones. It's frustrating to see HTC and Sprint drop the ball on advertising such great devices. The market is unforgiving of mistakes.

Well put but don't stop posting in forums. There is always going to be negative posts and it's nice when someone calls them out on it!! Thanks! I agree with the topic on hand, it's unfortunate that HTC does do a better job marketing a great device. I'm sure it has everything to do with there recent profit losses. I just think that proper marketing would equal more sales in the end. Not rocket science!

FWIW, I saw EVO 4G LTE commercials during the olympics on more than one occasion and 2 times I went to the movies this summer. Not too bad I thought.

There are at least two, but the second is basically a trimmed version of the first but announcing that the phone is available in white.

The OG EVO was marketed heavily by Sprint as it was the first 4G phone so you saw a lot more commercials overall. I can't remember offhand which ones were strictly from HTC.
