I've got a Nexus 6P here, lets get some questions going!

when you put it down on the table, any issues with the camera glass touching? Also, does it remain flat when touching the screen while on an table?

thanks

Can you do a photo size comparison of the N6P and Droid Turbo Ballistic Nylon? DT is my current phone.

When are we goona get a full detailed review of the Nexus 6P? Also, can't wait to see in-depth comparisons with the iPhone 6S Plus and other phones. A detailed camera review is also what would really be apprecaited because wherever I go, people have very differening views about the camera. Some claim that it is one of the best cameras on a smartphone and that it easily outperforms the camera on the iPhone 6S Plus while others speak aboslutely otherwise. Any concrete clarification would be really welcomed.

I have a feeling this is what I'll end up doing, though I do hope to see a 6P holder. I'm on a forum where others who own the same model of car really recommend this, they say it works great in our cars. Also, with as large as the 6P is, I think it will be good to have a spot to keep the phone while driving.

I use the quad lock. The advantage to it is size of the phone doesn't matter one person can have a very small phone another a large one once the lock is applied to the back of a case it is usable by that person. It also can be used on bikes, motorcycles and other areas. You don't have to buy a new car mount each time just a new lock for the back of a case.

I have found it to be the most versatile of any mounts I have used yet. Here is a link to the car mount.

Good luck.

Do you happen to have a magnetic car mount to test with? I have this guy which works a treat with my N5 (Qi coils help). It also will grab my wife's G4 if it's naked, so I'm hoping it will grab the naked N6p.

No way am I sticking a metal disk to the back of it...

Thats the issue...QC2 only really supports speeds up to 2A really..its QC3 that officially supports 3A. since that isnt finalized or released yet, thats why Google "left out" QC ...as they wanted faster then QC2 ...so they used what QC3 will be minus the name.

I'm currently a nexus 6 owner how is it to hold comapred to the nexus 6? I find the 6 a bit big as I'm not easily able to use the thing one handed.

My question may be more related to the OS, Android Marshmallow: do both the 5X and 6P have visual voicemail, like on the iPhone?

I've read that Android M was going to have this natively included

It's a little taller and a little narrower and a little thinner. At least from what I've seen and read. I compared the case I received already to my N6 case and that seems to be pretty accurate.

Just ordered mine today. Went with the Adopted case for now, interested about that fuzzy case. My only concern is with the Type-C charger. Hoping an adapter works with something like my Tronsmart 2.0 car charger.

How so? Is Google Voice still necessary or can I finally unistall / not have to use?

AT&T, currently.

Using it on my Nexus 6, there's a tab in the stock dialer for voicemail. Not sure if it matters or not, but I'm on T-Mobile. Also I don't have the Google Voice app installed on my phone.

Hi Russel. If you are still watching this forum thread, I have some of questions for you:

1) Have you experienced any thermal throttling? It does not have to be anything measured with a bechmark or so, mostly your appreciation.
2) Does it support USB OTG out of the box?
3) Do you miss the wireless charging? I use it a lot with my N5 (probably what fried my current battery), and was wondering about it
4) What feaures will the N6P (and N5X) have that the N5 or N6 will not? Despite having all of them the same android version (6.0)

I am considering to upgrade from my N5 to a N6P. I would consider the N5X if the 32 Gb version were not as expensive, and also 2 Gb of Ram seems so 2013.

Thanks in advance.

any* existing charger with a USB plug will be able to charge the phone with a type-a to type-c cable.

*as always, you may encounter a random strange device here or there that won't work, but 99.9999% of the time it will.

People really need to stop worrying about charging this phone. =/
