I've got the EVO - ask me anything!

I also love the default Navigation app on the Evo 4G (the blue arrow one) and missed it when I went to the Evo 3D. I have a feeling it won't be there on the LTE and I'll have to figure out a good replacement.

If I'm not mistaken, the blue arrow navigation is Google's Nav. And as Phil stated the EVOLTE includes Google Maps (and would have that Nav).

Guys, I found the answer to my microSD card question. It appears you CAN use the 64GB microSD card as long as it is propperly formatted in the phone (FAT32). The only drawback is it will not use files over 4GB in size. So if you have recorded a really long video that exceeds the file size limit, you would need to transfer it to your PC in order to play it. Hope this helps!

It helps Ty. But do you have a link?

How come when I try to view page 7 of this thread it takes me to page 5? How can I view page 7?

Engadget review is up and tells us nothing we already know except for some benchmark numbers, no talk on battery or speaker quality. If your leaving all these unanswered questions to be answered in your thorough review I'm completely fine with it, as long as the review seriously tells us stuff we don't already know

A lot of these questions can be answered by looking at the user guide.

http://www.androidcentral.com/htc-evo-4g-lte-user-guide-slips-out

It covers the Car Dock mode, Google Nav and Telenav in detail.

If you had Google Maps on the 3D then you had the navigation app too. Just go to maps and find a location and then get directions. You should have the blue arrow shortcut in your apps.

Battery Life ??? can't seem to find an answer about battery life. Wish it was like the Razr Max, can you trust HTC too step it up. No difference from original evo to 3d why should we expect a difference from 3d to LTE

He's had the phone for like 19 hours guys. I'm pretty sure it's possible he got a few hours of sleep in that time, so let's be patient, eh? :-X

All the reviews of the one x say it has great battery life so this should too. For example: 24hrs+ off charger, 2.5hrs screen on, all apps syncing, 14% discharging. That is from the ATT version which does not allow you to turn off LTE.

If that's the case, then I'm dropping any illusions about buying the Galaxy Nexus. Engadget's battery test said 5 hours! And that's without LTE running. WTF. Still, CDMA is more of a battery hog than GSM. Looking forward to the battery benchmarks.

How does the Sprint Google Voice integration work on the phone/Sense? It's been a while since I replaced my ROM, and can't remember if it plays nice with Sense's visual voicemail, if it just replaces it, or what... And there's nothing about it in the user manual.

Insure your phone through Squaretrade I believe it is 125 dollars for 2 years and there is a 99 deductible and they repair phone rooted or not up to three times no questions asked. They dont cover loss or theft that is what the lookup app is for. If you have a rooted phone and the manufacturer won't fix it just submerse the phone.

Nice first post promoting insurance fraud.....

Ya know, I'm not sure. I just fired up the GV app like normal and it's just working.

I have no idea how anyone's done a proper battery test yet. We all got the phones at the exact same time. Yesterday. At 5:23 p.m.

Yes. Everyone needs to be patient on battery life. Let us actually use the phone yet. Any review you see that's already "tested" battery life isn't exactly being honest about it. You cant work in a battery in 18 hours. You can't get enough charging cycles on it in that time. And you can't properly use it, in the wild -- and outside of a crazy show environment -- in that time.
