Would this device purchased in US work in Europe? What frequencies does it support? Does it have any SIM-card region lock?

Based on your feedback I assume I should be OK? Hoping the device does not include some kind of Samsung region lock?

I think 1800 is Band 3 and it's not listed for the US Honor 5X.

Did you guys try the OTG compatibility with 3rd party file managers like ES File Explorer?
I really really hope it works, coz I use OTG pendrives a lot with my phones.....

I don't have Android auto, so I can't test that. Bluetooth streaming works great for me. After the initial pairing, it connects automatically and quickly without any intervention from me.

My phone is making a bit of a rattling sound when I shake it or put it down on a hard surface or tap on the back. I took out the simcards and that did not stop the sound so it is not the cards making noise.

It almost sounds like it is the camera lens that has come loose? I am pretty sure it didn't make this noise yesterday.

Anyone else notice any rattling?

My wife just got the Honor 5x and has lost both the icons for phone and messages. With no app drawer, I'm having a hard time finding them to recopy to her tray. At least contacts has both phone (left swipe) and messages (right swipe), but how can I recopy the icons? Thanks.

Reset the app preferences in the setting...app management and it should be fine or else take a backup with hi suites and do a factory reset and then restore the backup.
