FINALLY!!! Ordered on 4/29, received credit card charge confirmation on morning of 5/5, and just received my tracking number info from the HTC website! Will be here Monday 5/9 by 8PM!!! Can't wait!

Ordered the unlocked on the last day coupon was good for, on this past Wednesday, got the Fedex shipping confirmation email tonight - my (Glacial Silver) phone will be delivered on Monday. I've already had a lot of exposure to the phone and am very excited to have the superb audio back again, new Radiohead (whose music is usually my go-to reference for determining great sound) is out and it will sound a-mazing on it, it's not got the same oomph on the MXPE I am currently using.

For the ones getting it Monday like myself, I'm sure we all got overnight shipping. Do you think it might be possible we might get it tomorrow? Doesn't FedEx do Saturday delivery? Or does it have to be a certain shipping for that to happen?

Ordered 5/2. Got tracking number. Will receive before 15:00 Monday afternoon...BOOYAH! Which is good because Amazon botched my order for my case and it won't arrive until Monday too. It was meant to be...LMFAO!

You'll love it. Twice today, I was doing audio comparisons with my M8 and found myself just leaving the 10 running for an hour while I listened to the music, without even realizing it. I do audio comparisons a lot for my job and when I find myself just listening to the music and forgetting I'm doing a comparison, that's when I know it's good.

My tracking page on Fedex specifically said no weekend delivery (Fedex charges extra for that) so you'll want to be patient. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Well I did do overnight shipping but my shipping notice does say weekday delivery only so I know it won't come tomorrow. No biggie, I am getting it at the office and that's closed tomorrow anyway.

Digital River is a complete joke. If HTC wants to get out of the red and into the black, they better partner up with a better distributor. My card was charged 3 days ago and this thing is still showing as pending. Most companies don't charge you until the item is shipped. No one speaks English when you call them because the entire process is outsourced to the lowest bidder. I ended up canceling the order and buying an unlocked unit from Swappa, brand new and unopened, for less than what I would have paid from HTC - and I will have it by Monday. Next time HTC should switch from Digital River to Amazon for a better launch.

So you got the $590 one? I don't understand why people sell at a loss. They only get $580, then paypal fees, then shipping. End up netting like $550. It was $650 after taxes and the $100 coupon...and they could have just shipped it back for a full refund if they didn't want it.

Stolen credit cards? I'll never understand.

Edit: Ohh, I understand now. The seller Jimmy must work at HTC in Seattle. He probably gets HTC devices for a huge discount (his prior A9 sales for below retail). Makes sense.

Sorry to be a creeper, lol. Was genuinely curious at this scenario.

So, I just placed my new order. Here's hoping it goes through ok. I called to get the $100 credit, but they said the order was still in review (I called right after I submitted). I should have just placed the order over the phone. One really interesting note, there is a difference in my confirmation emails between the two orders. On my original order that was messed up, in the lower right, it showed "VISA *****". On my new order, it showed "VISA *1234" (where 1234 are the last 4 of my credit card). At this point, my guess is that by selecting paypal, it flagged the order as paypal, and ignored any credit card input. Clearly, it's a bug in their system.

Hopefully I'll have no problem getting my $107 (after tax) discount back. I highly doubt I'll ever see any free gift for pre-ordering. I'll wait to see what it is, then perhaps a twitter campaign would be in order.

Edit: And now my card has been charged. Hopefully no more glitches. I got a decent scare last night as both the gray and sliver showed "coming soon" in their store. However, this morning, only the gray still showed coming soon, and the silver was in stock.
