Received shipping notification on 10/19.

It arrived yesterday, 10/21. I haven't activated it yet, though.

I got mine yesterday. The animations are really smooth. Facebook seems to take a while to load images, but it could be just my connection.

The display is really crisp. I can't really see the individual pixels at all. It did have 1-3 dead pixels, so they're sending me a replacement.

Other than the dead pixels, I really like it. The fingerprint sensor is really fast, and I've only had it reject my finger when I didn't put enough of my finger on the sensor.

Just got my shipping notification.

32GB Carbon ordered through Project Fi on 10/16. Shipping from Carol Stream, IL to Oklahoma City via free shipping. Scheduled to be delivered on Monday.

Still waiting on mine to ship.Another chat a different answer.Last was told it may have shipped or would today.Chatted a few minutes ago, said would ship the 23rd.Asked what was the point in paying $19 for overnight shipping just to have them have held it until Friday.He then said it was in the initial phase of shipping and i should get a email soon.

Are these people really looking at order info or just making stuff up as they go.I have 0 confidence in it shipping today at this point.So glad I ordered my 6p from Huawei instead of Google.

They are making everything up. Billion dollar company sends phones ordered 2 weeks later fast than those who did it right away. Makes perfect sense for the "initial shipping phase"

Ok stupid question' for those who live in US and got their device already, did u receive the device from fedex or ups? and do you have to be present in order to receive it or they can just leave in your mailbox? Reason im asking is im not always around bc of my work schedule.

Just got my shipping notice. 32 GB Ice. Coming from Carol Stream, IL on its way to Florida. Overnight shipping means it will be here for the weekend.

It's for the wife, but she is out of town. I'm sure she won't mind me "testing it out" for her! ;-)

My arrived today. Right now in the process of setting it up. I plugged it in to the charger thinking I would of had to give it a full charge, but it appears the battery is already fully charged.
Some quick observations. Compared to my Nexus 4 size wise it is the same width but the 5x being a little longer. The 5x feels a bit lighter and even though when placed side by side the appear to have the same thickness, the 5x somehow feels thinner.
One particularly good feature is the when you first initiated the phone it will prompt you if you want to transfer your apps and data from another device.
Now all I have to do is wait for the SIM card I ordered from Tmobile to arrive.
