Yeah. I just hate the fact that they've removed SD card support and started charging a premium for storage, just like Apple. I store a lot of music from Google Play music, but if I'm traveling I have a tablet or a 1080P Chromebook for movies. Even keeping all my photos on the phone as well as online, I can't ever imagine using 128GB of storage on a phone.

They most certainly did not charge the same premium for space as Apple does ($50 vs $100 per tier).

Hello all, just ordered the Nexus 6P 64GB Graphite with Adopted Carbon Case. Estimated delivery date is Nov 5-9.

I have been in a dilemma for 2-3 days thinking do I want to switch over from the Note 3 to iPhone 6S for a small, slightly pocketable smartphone. The price of the iPhone 6S 64GB on the UK is £619 and the Nexus 6P 64GB was £499, so I was getting a saving with a a phablet size phone, so I pulled the trigger.

I am not worried about the funds itself. I just wondering why most people had their pending Google charge dropped and not me.

I didn't want to find out my order got screwed up and have to reorder again and wait another month.

Cancelled my 64GB Graphite and went for 128GB Aluminium.. November 10-12, we'll see if it gets push up or back.

Just ordered my 128 gig graphite with case. I've been on my m7 for over two years and I'm ready for a much needed upgrade. Estimated delivery November 18-20, though I'm hoping we may get lucky and have earlier shipping.

What I don't get is what are people putting on their phones that need 64 or 128GB? Not judging, just wondering. I have a 32GB Nexus 6 that still has 21GB free and I have a lot of crap on it.

I love it when people think of the here and now as their guide to the future... I remember some of the first computers and we thought a 20MB drive was huge, and now I have 2 - 1T drives on my current work PC. I currently don't use that much space, but I want to add some of my music on my current device and not sticking it all in the cloud for others to know about.... and that's just the music side... who knows what my needs will be in 2 years or even next year.

If you're on here talking about preordering, I doubt you'll even have the same phone in 2 years...

There's always a first for anything... but sure, I could upgrade again in a year... you just never know until you are there.

My first computer was an apple 2e. It didn't have a hard drive.

Do they charge your credit card when you order or when they ship? If it waits til they ship, I can go ahead and pre-order one, as I'll have the cash by then... since it looks like we're into early-mid November now. Otherwise I'm stuck... :)

It puts a pre-authorization charge on your card at the moment you order, which goes away after a few days. You get charged for real when the phone ships. So, you shouldn't need the cash until it ships (note that the phones could ship sooner than we expect).

But if it's a credit card, it's not your funds, hence the term credit (the ability of a customer to obtain goods or services before payment, based on the trust that payment will be made in the future). I've never understood why people care about pending or temporary credit card charges. They cost you nothing and it's not your money anyways.

My apologies for not being clearer. I was referring to a Debit card, as in my case.
