So talked to Project Fi Support chat today just to see if by chance they knew if mine would be shipping early since I saw a few people with Project Fi orders shipping today that had the same original Leave Warehouse by day(9th). This is what she came up with after calling a shipping rep.

Thank you so much for holding, I was able to get some information for you. I was informed that you shipment has already been sent to the shipper and your expected delivery date is November 9th"
That would imply shipping before the 9th and being at my door on the 9th, at least that's how I understood it. Then in the follow up email it said it would ship on the 9th. Those are 2 different things.
They also said "I also wanted to clarify what was meant by your package has been shipped to the shipper. This means that our warehouse is processing for shipment so that everything is ready to go for you!" Which I'm guessing is equal to the "ship state" they told me it was in last week and probably means absolutely nothing.

And as of a few minutes ago I now have the 4th Pending Preauth charge I've seen from them in the last 2 weeks for my order.
Alicia was the nicest I've had for chat support so far, but turns out she also doesn't know the difference between delivery date and ship date. Got my hopes up.

32 GB Aluminum, Ordered from Project Fi at 9:47am 10/19. Processing in "ship state" for about a week. Have seen 4 pending charges now, I've learned those don't mean anything.
 
Here's my latest debacle with google CSR. (who can't even spell my name right....)

TLDR version: apparently there's a loophole in their system that previous orders were pre-orders and current orders are taking priority and shipping out sooner if devices are in stock in their system.

I'd appreciate that. My biggest gripe is that I'm reading multiple peoples accounts of placing recent orders(over that last couple of days) and shipping by the next day or two

Yea that's not fair to customer who have pre-ordered. Google is aware of the issues and Engineers are working on resolution.
I see that your order has been processed for shipment. Generally this can take 1-2 to process.

The Presales were to reserve your device before they were released. The shipping time was 4-5 weeks. After releasing the device it was 3-4 weeks. Now that they are in production they are shipping in 1-2 days if you can catch one.

I know some people have been receiving $25 off for their delay, as well as free upgrade to next day delivery(I already paid for next day). I think it's only fair that I receive $25 off and get reimbursed the next day delivery.

That email will go out automatically to each customer. The system creates it when the order has not shipped by the delivery date that was promised.

If they would have said it'll be sent out on november 15th. I wouldn't be complaining but I was promised delivery by November 2nd or 3rd.

Ordered a aluminum 64gb from the Google store at 1am on October 29th. It went to processing Friday. It just shipped and I immediately received a tracking number via email. It says FedEx priority overnight even though I got free shipping.

I'm happy for you but now i'm even more PO'd. I ordered mine 1 day before you, and you already have yours and mine hasn't even shipped. SMH. I don't understand how 2 large companies like Google and Huawei can F up this bad. Especially since Huawei cranks devices out on a regular basis.

What color did you order? If it's either Graphite or Frost, I've heard either of them are taking longer.
 
Ordered 64 GB Graphite on 10/04. Still in pending. Talked to CS today. The lady told was supposed to ship today but has delays.

Ordered 64 GB Aluminum on 11/03 (yday). Went to processing yesterday and got an email that it's shipped!! Chose free shipping. But has been shipped overnight. From IL to NJ. Hope it helps someone!!

2nd pending charge on my Card for a 32GB Aluminum FI order with a leave warehouse date of the 9th.
 
My 128gb Aluminium model that I ordered just after the event has shipped four hours ago, should have it tomorrow. The estimated delivery was 3rd-5th Nov but did miss the dispatched by date (Nov 1)
 
Update:
Ordered 64g Alum yesterday, shipped today.
Had previously cancelled a graphite 64 cause it was stuck in pending hell

So you've had success with that and it worked? I've been promised that mine (64GB Graphite) will ship tomorrow. If I don't have a shipped status by tomorrow I'm cancelling and ordering 64GB Alum.

I also ordered a Folio and Dual Travel Charger with it so it might be delayed because of that.
 
Ordered 64GB Alum minutes after site went live 9/29. After reading this thread, grew frustrated that others who ordered significantly after me were receiving their phones. That order is still currently stuck in "Pending" status w/ Nov 10-12 estimated date.

On Nov 3rd, ordered another 64GB Alum. Within hours, order went to "Processing" and it just recently went to "Shipped"!!! Even better...it was shipped overnight and will be here tomorrow! I didn't pay for any expedited shipping.

I'm canceling the original pre-order, and giving up the play credit, but don't care. For whatever reason, there seems to be a very large number of pre-orders sitting in purgatory. They must have significant order routing/system issues that are causing this. There is no other explanation for this failed roll-out.

Needless to say...can't wait for tomorrow!
 
My 32GB aluminum shipped but when I click the tracking number it shows not found on FedEX website.
 
My Nexus 6P 128GB Graphite that I preordered over a month ago shipped today! Looks like it should arrive tomorrow. I feel like my repeated conversations with Google Support may have gotten me out of the "pending" state of doom, as my order went from pending to shipped all at once.
