I read through the fine print before I placed my order and it said that you would be charged the full amount immediately. Seems like some people are getting a temporary charge and others are being charged in full.

On the Google store order history page, one says "pending" and one says "perordered". I wonder what that means.

Ordered 6P on 10/3, Graphite 64G. Expecected shipping date is 11/10-11/12. My confirmation email states card will not be charged until order is shipped. Retiring Droid Maxx and sure hope 6P WiFi and Verizon do not fight like the Droid Maxx.

Check your account after 72 hours. The charge will be gone and the funds back in your account.

Just checked my card. I have a charge of the full amount for a 32GB Aluminum 6P on 9/29 ( the day i placed the order). Whether its just an authorization charge or not, I hope it ships soon! Says Nov 5-9th. Gah! Hard to wait that long lol.

When you guys say the temporary/ pending charge get dropped after a few days, is that bank specific? I order on Oct. 1st and the temp charge is still there. I have Wells Fargo.

Ordered on 9/29 and the charge is still there for me. Order page hasn't changed at all, I was checking it a lot when I first ordered but now I'm mostly just waiting for a tracking info e-mail. I'm sure once someone on here gets that I'll be back to checking every 10 minutes tho...

First is "preordered," then "ordered," then "postordered," then back to "ordered," followed by "processing," then "pending," then "cancelled" then "just kidding - don't call," then back to "preordered."

I'm a first time Nexus user and first time pre orderer. I ordered a Nexus 6P 64 GB Aluminum on Sept 29 and haven't received my confirmation email yet? Has this happened to anyone else? What happened was I made the order twice but because I had used the wrong Credit Card the first time. Also, does Google have a history of shipping early? I'm SUPER excited...

Yes, this happened to me.

I contacted their support and they CANCELLED MY ORDER. I was LIVID. I had put the order in before the page went live (a little URL adjusting ) and had a ship date of October 27th. I had to place the order again, 24 hours after the page had gone live and ship date is not November 7th-9th.

I had an issue with the billing address in my initial order and for "security purposes", they cancelled it, made me update my billing address, confirm that the account was mine (had to send them pictures of my credit card and my drivers license) and THEN replaced the order. I tried to get those days back too for like 2 hours and didnt have any luck. I even got transferred to a supervisor and a manager, no dice.

After that second order was placed, I got my order confirmation email.

I just ordered the 6P in Graphite, 32GB. Should ship by Nov. 12-16th, I'm hoping for sooner.
I also managed to somehow get on the Google Project Fi service. Finally dropping Sprint.
This will be my first Android phone. I've had iPhones for the past four years, and no so smart phones before that.
