I don't know, Funky - that all looks perfectly reasonable. You had the screen on almost the whole time. I don't know what your screen brightness setting was, but that would be the only thing that you could do to stretch your time out - I mean, you had WiFi on and were using the phone pretty much the whole time.

yeah between 10-5% as the evening progressed mate and i wasnt connected to wifi, just had it on coz google Now likes it on lol.
i usualy get a bit longer with hard use like this.
ive constantly got a decent 3g (hsdpa/hspa+) connection so i duno if having wifi on in background makes a diff'?
(i dont have home wifi)

If I'm not mistaken wifi constantly looks for hot spots in the background when it's on and not connected. Next time you run your battery down touch the screen tab in battery usage tab, I'd like to see how long your screen was on.

will do when im charged again mate. te battery actualy lasted well when i slept though and wifi only used .1% so it doesnt seem to be that....

from memory though, the screen was on most of the time, it was a heavy use discharge. maybe im imagining it but unless im streaming, i usualy get a bit longer when im sat online for hours (dont have home broadband).
i should really have recorded a test before JB to be sure.
everything does look prety normal percentage-wise...

Me too, you need to turn off all of Google's location reporting and the cause of the biggest drain is Samsung Push. I disabled it and now enjoy normal battery life. If you use the Samsung app it will enable it again but who needs that app anyhow. My wife still has ICS and after 1 day 12 hours she still had 73 percent battery after lite use. Tell people about Samsung Push as the battery life is really annoying everyone.
