Any Idea how to get root back?

Sent from my Maxx.
Weird. I got mine fine without issue. So did my bud. When you have a custom recovery installed, the update installs via TWRP. After you select "restart" it tells you that "superuser" needs fixing and asks you to swipe to fix.

I bit the bullet and updated. I was already doing well, with no multi touch, random reboot, or other problems, except for occasional sticky keys. Nothing seems worse than before, but the sticky key issue is definitely not fixed. The keyboard (Swiftkey) maybe feels a little snappier, but that could easily be placebo effect.

I think Google has some more work to do with the 'random reboot' issue.....
4.4 maybe?

I have a feeling if the issue is still a major set back, we may see another 4.3 update come out with just a different build number. If one of their flagship devices is having a major flaw they won't let it go on for too low. They can release rapid builds with carriers taking their time to "certify" it and inject their own bloatware. Just pure speculation... and a little hope on my part.

Try rebooting a few times. Mine was doing the same today, and after a few reboots it connected fine. I also had a ton of Android OS battery usage at first, but after the reboots this also went back to normal.

Re: link to a pre-rooted JSS15r (full ROM)

Finally just got the update about 20 minutes ago. Hopefully no issues. Was not having any BEFORE the update, including keyboard - I use the default Google keyboard

I never had any issues. I installed the update and my backspace key on the stock keyboard got stuck. I hope it was a fluke.

After the last update caused the thing to get stuck on the X, I held my breath with this one, but no issues :) Just rebooted, no wifi connection problems.

Updated to JSS15R. No problems. I want to think the touch screen is a bit more responsive.

Is there anyone that hasn't received the update yet? I'm still waiting on mine!

Well I installed update on my first nexus 3 days ago, within hours lost WiFi. Factory reset pointless as it just meant startup wizard could not connect to WiFi! Got new unit yesterday, resisted installing update this time, worked all last night... This morning... Stuck on X boot screen, not happy. Full recovery wipe this time R update installed.. Keeping my eye on it now. Have had random freezes. 2nd nexus in couple of days.. So far I'm not happy! Next time it's gonna be iPad mini thanks!
