After 2 weeks of thinking and hesitation, I just ordered this from Amazon (UK) as a jump from my 2 year old Xperia Z2. Hope it works well (the seller is reliable) and I hope I am able to place the screen protector properly (I've ordered the one that is applied with liquid)! And even if some problem occurs (overheating or TouchWiz problem), I hope I can get here on the forum for support from you, nice fellas. Excited!

If you're talking about the IQ Shield one, it'll work. Just be patient. You might have to use the blow-dryer trick to get the edges to stick, though. However, the most important thing is to check your case (if any) before you apply it. If the case falls on top of the protector and its edges are too tight, chances are it will lift it up and the edges will start peeling. So you either get a case that doesn't reach all the way up, or you'd need the 'case friendly' version of the protector.

I don't know the case you are referring to. I have ordered the following:

I think they should be fine, based on the research I've done. People comment that the case doesn't reach the edges, therefore it won't peel off any screen protectors that are applied on the phone.

As for the protector, it seems to be one of the best reviewed on Amazon. I also watched a YT tutorial on how to apply it. It seems rather tricky, but I hope I will get it right. What do you think of my choices?
