I need you to run "adb logcat" from your computer then try to enable wireless. Then STOP the logcat immediately and send me a screenshot or copy and paste the text into a comment on the issue you opened.

I will look into this. In the mean time please report this issue in the issue tracker built in to the github repository.

If you're using the AnyKernel template it doesn't copy over the modules. So if the version names between your old modules and your current kernel don't match, WiFi won't work.

You sure? I'm looking over the updater-script and it definitely does copy the modules. I think the issue is actually that it didn't delete the old TCP and dma_test modules. The version names between those and the kernel won't match, which could be the cause of this error.

Code:
mount("MTD", "system", "/system");
package_extract_dir("system", "/system");
unmount("/system");

[INFO]The issue with wifi not working has been fixed, please re-download the fixed copy from the first post. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Technical Details:
With the AnyKernel updater, there are 4 crucial files that must be included for it to work properly. The function of these 4 files is to create a boot.img on-the-fly and flash it. What you all were experiencing is my failure to include these files (I had actually deleted them unknowingly), therefore the kernel never actually got flashed. The modules (which did in fact get installed) were newer than the kernel, thus wireless (and probably tun) drivers failed.[/INFO]

No problem at all! Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks! Works now!

Thanks for the hard work Drew! Wifi is working now. I love this kernel for the fact that you put the new governor it. It works so much better than interactive. Have seen terrible battery life coming from Reborn to Ath3nos CM7. Hopefully this will sort it out.

this kernel does appear to lag on weird circumstances. basketthis and I are running data2ext.v4.

I assume it has something to do with writing to the sdcard. this was not noticable with the previous kernel on athenos

Can you give me an example of a circumstance where you experience lag?

Can you give me an example of a circumstance where you experience lag?

I specifically didn't use the word lag in my description because it seems that the game I play will just move in slow motion. Lag seems to stutter, which doesn't week to be my issue, but maybe I'm just playing semantics... there is definitely a noticeable 'slow down" or "lag" for me while playing my game as stated before.

Is it Angry Birds by chance?

And uhh, "lag seems to stutter, which doesn't week to be my issue" makes absolutely no sense LMFAO

Don't worry I know what you meant.

I will pay close attention to when I experience a slow down and note the situation...key is replication

I will also check some other settings and play around...

Drew...you sir, are awesome.

Thanks for all the work you put into this, it's definitely appreciated. ^_^

Re: [Kernel][CM7] XioniaRedux 2.6.32.33 07252011

Game is called robo defense. In level 50-ish is when it would have an issue (more enemies on the screen). And that is a typo from using my phone. Lol. Week=seem.

I will note that turning off the "better" graphics option seemed to solve it while running this kernel. Just want to help point out any issues with the kernel in hopes of improving it. ;) thanks again for looking into it!
