KitKat.

Whoever keeps saying "factory reset or wifi won't work" is wrong. Updated just fine and had no probs. Wifi works great.

I keep getting a sign-in request from the stock gallery app for Picasa Web album. I keep hitting cancel but the request comes back within minutes. Any ideas how to stop this?
Here's a photo.

Open gallery, hit Menu Button, Content To Display, uncheck Content in Picasa.

That was unchecked prior to the update. It wants to sync the gallery with my photos in my Picasa account. It's annoying. Thanks for the help though.

Try Settings, Accounts, Google then tap on your gmail address to open the Sync settings and uncheck Sync Picasa Web albums.

1st problem today. Left the house (where it was on Wifi). Looked at phone later and said no internet connection. Went into airplane mode and exited out. It then established 4g connection. Only time it has done it since the update.

Reminds me of the problem from one of the earlier updates a year or so ago.

Do you have Onovo Extend?
I did and was having a problem keeping my data signal connected. I deleted the app and 4G is back to normal.

Remember to wipe your cache, people!! I was having minor issues here and there and wiping the cache has gotten rid of all problems and the phone is working flawlessly!!!

Battery life has improved, it's less laggy (wasn't very much to begin w/), all apps I use are working fine, basically it's working as good as I can expect. If wiping cache does not work, as they've said many times, factory resets after major updates are always suggested. Obviously is sucks to do one but there's an option for it for a reason.

Good luck and I hope all works out!

Has anyone had any luck with finding Knox on the S3? I see all the apps/services/process in the app manager under All, but I don't see the app itself. I spoke to both Verizon and Samsung reps and they said it appears that Knox isn't part of the update when the release notes clearly state that it was.

I had this issue too. I went into an elevator and of course lost all signal. When I came out noticed no data for a few minutes. Turned airplane mode on and off and 4G came right back. Did the same thing today and just waited and it took about 5 minutes for the 4G to come back on its own. Appears the recovery time is more than it was before.

Also noticed slightly more battery usage. Mine has always been excellent and I can still easily make the whole day, but now when I hook up to the charger when going to bed I have about 25 percent left when I had nearly 50 before the update. I've had some of these issues right after previous updates and the device seems to settle down after a few days and it probably will again.
