I haven't been able to find any information about the firmware but I did notice something different on my 2014 edition. I no longer have the ripple effect on my lock screen and there is no option in the lock screen setup to turn it on or off. I now get a Lock with a with directional arrows to unlock. Anyone else update and lose their ripple effect. While it isn't that big of deal I kind of liked seeing it.

I noticed the same thing when I downloaded it a few days ago.

Samsung may have been forced to get rid of it if that sort of thing wasn't supported in the new OS version.

I still have it in the UK but then I don't have the latest update which apparently makes the tablet much smoother. Why it has gone is debatable.

I'm in the United States. My device is: 4.3, Kernel 3.4.39-2040736
