what features make this app worth the 3 bucks to upgrade..

do you actually resize widgets? what widgets are more useful than defaults or free versions elsewhere? any other features i should know of? can you resize icons?

I bought it and didn't resize the widgets at all... in fact it doesn't resize the widget it just makes it so the widget can move within the enlarged area on the screen. they have some nice widgets like facebook, friends and calendar. It also allows you more than 3 home screens.

so its more like aligning or positioning widgets? any other features of the plus version you take advantage of?

Not really. There might be a few more options in the settings but mainly jsut the REALLY nice widgets. Thats the reason I paid for it.

All of them.

People Widget – To quickly access all your contacts, or just your favorites, or a particular group. (like the one found on Sense UIs)

Bookmarks Widget – Quick access to your browser’s bookmarks. Has three different types. (like the one found on sense ui)

Calendar/Agenda Widget – Shows you a calendar you can scroll through to switch months, and also lets you see your agenda for any particular day right within the widget.

Messaging – Scroll through a list of your SMS messages or one by one. Quick links to delete messages, reply, etc.

Facebook



Friends - Combines twitter and facebook.

Best part is they are all customizable. Change the size, colors, fonts, ect ect. I customized mine to look like the came with the Fascinate with blues and whites.

For the price of a cup of coffee. I think all of the widgets, the transition speed enhancements and the (non iPhone) features are well worth it.

I've wanted to buy Plus for awhile.. just haven't yet, mainly bc it's Paypal and I can't just quickly buy it on the Market. But I'm definitely going to. The dev deserves $3 for LP in general anyway.

I went to LauncherPro.com and purchased it. You'll get e-mailed an activation code, then you enter it in the free version of LauncherPro.

You CAN resize widgets/icons... just hold your finger down over the widget/icon, and when you release, the widget/icon will be highlighted yellow with a tab on the bottom right corner for you to drag to resize.

which widgets were you able to resize? I've tried a few different widgets, facebook, espn, weather channel, NHL.... and nope it doesn't resize your widgets. it just takes the widget and centers it in the area that you expanded the yellow window to.

correction, the only one it actually resized was the picture frame, otherwise it didn't work on anything else...

Picture Frame already resizes in TouchWiz without any help.

Definitely worth the $2.99 or whatever.
Plus the developer is rewriting the entire code from scratch to be more efficient, use less resources, etc. and the people that have already purchased LP Plus will NOT have to purchase it again when he gets finished.

I believe the 3 bucks is worth all his hard work, from one developer to another.
