Just talked to a tech support person at Verizon today and they confirmed the June 30th date for MR2 update.

yeah this seems to be the case more often then not..as we saw with the release date fiasco....sorry too soon?

They didn't mention anything about gingerbread. I am hoping the updatewill include it

I wouldn't hold my breath on that ... right now I just want the reboots to stop. I am getting one a day now which is bearable but not acceptable.

My Droid Pro is running a leaked software build and that phone I have 400 hrs of up-time on. Yes it is not 4G but we don't have 4G in this area yet anyway and from what I was told they aren't even testing it here yet

If custom ROMs were able to improve battery life on the TB, do you think the next OTA update will do anything to help battery life? Just can't get the battery issue out of my head. I want to love the TB so much.

I know Gingerbread didn't help my Droid X. I believe it got worse.

the next update should improve battery life for many tbolt users bc the radio is changed and will use less power to get 3g/4g signal.

If I could actually take you up on that bet I would... I do believe GB will be the next OTA.
