Hey now that every thing has calmed down I need to ask somthing. Ok i did this last night and its working great i was getting the force close on twloncher but after i had my phone off all night today its working good but i wasnt really worried about that because i use Lp+. But the thing i do want to ask is I didnt clear anything before i did it and when it opened back up all my apps were there just as i left them. Is that how it should have happened? I keep reading of people havent to redownload all of their apps.

I think that was the way it was supposed to work, but when I tried it I kept getting FC's loops after boot and couldn't do anything so I had to start from scratch.

you probably had replaced BING with Google prior to the update. If so go in to applications and remove the old apk file then reboot.

That what I was getting last night as well and couldn't get it to go away so I ended up going back to stock DL09 and starting over and wiping data/cache about 3 types each for good measure.

Which keyboard? Chris and I always joke because we both switch keyboards like 9 times a day lol.

Smart Keyboard Pro has it. That keyboard looks best with the Galaxy S skin.

It was the standard Android keyboard. It had a .com there when I was in a form that needed me to enter in either a URL or an email address. now it is gone and I am very sad.

I did, but what was that app, can't remember which one to delete.

How is everyone's GPS and battery life? Maybe its my imagination, but my GPS does not seem to lock as quick as before.

GPS is fine. Battery life is not better. Not yet anyway.

My GPS works fine, I can get a lock in a few seconds and it's accurate to about 20 meters, this is indoor.

I'm sure It's been asked a hundred times already, but does this enabled the rumored tv-out through USB?

Heck, I don't even know all these acronyms like FS (I'm assuming Fascinate). I really do like the new changes on my Fascinate - makes it feel like a new phone.

So far I have noticed a decline in battery life. I'm coming from the Blackhole 3.0 (DJO5/DL09) ROM with Adrynalyne's Kernel. I was getting tremendous battery life with this setup and now am getting average battery life at best. So far I'm not 100% sold on this Froyo setup. I may be going back if there aren't any kernels released to improve the battery on DL30.

I just downloaded the 3-day trial for TD. We'll see how it goes...I don't want to pay $20 for an app that I'm not going to like.


And I can't pull my Facebook contacts in either...

Chances are you'll absolutely love it, but Roadsync is a cheaper option. For TD, there are 2 versions. Make sure you install the 2.x vs. 1.x version or you'll throw your phone out the window.

Yeah, touchdown is well worth it (granted I expensed it and got the money back for it from my job) lol Definitely a step up from the stock corporate email support.

Disappearing Icons?

I am a total newbie but, thanks to Cory's good instructions, I finally have Froyo on my Fascinate. It did take me three tries. Aside from the email issue, I've noticed some disappearing icons on my home screens. It seems to be happening to the icon in the lower left corner location. It is there for a while and then just disappears. I put it back, use it for a while, and then it disappears again. Anyone else notice this? Any suggestions?
