car craddle and desk craddle are the only ways you can use the audio port on the docks as far as i know

agreed, there was def more bloatware with eclair than this leak. when I was looking for stuff to remove all I saw was allshare and thinkfreeoffice that I didn't want on there.

You can try a car dock replacement. There's a few in the Market.

lol no worries, I was wondering if I had missed something or had it hidden via Launcher Pro. but I definitely appreciate that this leak doesn't have a lot of bloat on it.

I installed Froyo last night and everything seems to be ok. I am curious is there any way to update the market place? If yes, how?

I don't miss the bloat either. Went in to freeze in TBU and was like wow. Froze the touchwiz clocks and live wallpapers and the others y'all mentioned. I like this a lot.

It should do it on its own. Have you opened it a few times?

Hmm, good question. Have you tried Vlingo? I *think* that will still enabled audio out from the dock.

I downloaded ADW Launcher, and now my TW launcher is on a force close loop
EDIT: Cleared Cache worked.

Well, took the plunge and got the FC loop, then the digital voice telling me to update drivers and now I have froyo. It easiest to just flash to DL09 first.

Heck with VM, just run YouMail. Is customizable and you can access it via your internet connection instead of calling VM. and fully functional with 2.2

Need to figure out a way to turn off sound of battery getting too low, that can be annoying. EDIT: found those sounds, and changed them to OLD.

Also, can anyone tell me where to find that 3G hotspot app so I can move it to the SD?

Anyone else notice the Gallery app is not as smooth as before? I think it is just STUPID FAST now.

I can't find the mobile.apk. That's what it used to be called, but no matter where I look I can't find it. Clearly it's somewhere.

In Froyo, there is no mobile.apk - the hotspot is built into the framework of the OS.

It uses the same one the Stock Android keyboard uses, if that helps you any Cory.

okay --- very stupid question guys.. i'm totally bone stock dl09 with never having flashed at all. i'm a complete noob to all this. if i follow the instructions on post 1- will i have froyo? or is there something that i have to do prior to post 1?

Ah! Yes! I forgot that voicemail button goes to Visual Voicemail. For some reason I kept thinking it dialed your VM access number. Thanks!

Yes. This leak is a Froyo leak. DL30 is just the build number.
