Complete with Bing....fail, I'll stick with DL30 that's not too bloated stock.

After update to froyo contact search doesn't find contacts that are in the list, have to do it manually on many occasions. I sync my contact through Touchdown exchange server and also with Google. Any help would be appreciated to eliminate this nu sense.

Do you have Touchdown configured to update contact changes to phone?

The game was in the market on sale for $.99 then regular price $4.99, then EA pulled that version from the market and put up a new one for $9.99. A lot of people are having problems with the game and don't know how to re-download it!

BTW the download you linked to, I can't do anything with it.

Also, The size seems to lead me to believe it is the demo version.

I've been told that green works by both DroidXcon and killahamsammich. Both are reliable sources in regards to this info. That said, Adrynalyne told me you need to have Froyo before you can flash to the new green, so I would recommend following the procedure in post 1, and do green afterwards. The procedure takes approx 20-30 minutes.

OK, just trying to make sure I have the order before I do this. I'm not currently rooted. Just installed the DL28 last night. I'll do the factory reset on my phone.

I have to root to install Froyo right? Where in the process do I do the root? After the reset? Before? I'm a little root ignorant, but was going to use Z4Root as it looks pretty simple.

Yes. It isn't all contact are in the contacts manager. Just the search doesn't find them all. I have to scroll down the list manually and select.

I flashed DL30 without any issues using the old green CWM per the instructions found here: How to install DL30: aka Froyo. I was already on DL09 and have never done Voodoo, so I started from step 2 and it worked like a champ and I haven't had any issues since.

(NOTE: Step 3 of the instructions on XDA say to perform each wipe twice; I didn't see the point in doing it twice so I only did each wipe once and everything worked out fine.....so far.)

yeah, I had the OLD green one that I flashed on DL09 by using Odin and then flashing clockwork in rom manager. Specifically remember it because the package apparently included a kernel made for DI01 and broke haptic feedback so I had to reflash a DL09 kernel. Didn't have any issues updating to DL30 in the green cwm but when trying to run a backup, it would say successful but the backup wouldn't show in the list. Reflashing cwm in rom manager fixed that and it's been smooth sailing since.

So Can I just Flash the green from DL30? Do I have to re-flash DL30 or will NEW CWM (Green) just go over the red?

EDIT: Flashed to Green. It enters into blue, then if you select install from SD it goes into new green. But no ill-effects showing up in use. So you do not have to re-flash DL30.

Anyone else notice that when you take a picture, it now shows the location where you took the picture at? New feature of the camera firmware possibly? I haven't been able to find an option to enable/disable this yet.
