Ok, it says 1 (COM 7) in yellow in the small rectangle below com port mapping. Still says invalid file when i click pda and then open the clockwork file.
Unfortunately, sometimes certain apps (like Swype) that you wouldn't expect to be essential end up causing problems like that when you remove them. You're only solution is probably going to be to re-flash DL30, unless you're familiar with ADB and can push the Swype APK (which we can't post here, sorry) to the phone manually.
Disreguard my god OK THANK YOU DROID X THANK YOU CORY im back in somewhat biz however how do you remove voodoo prior to installing Foyo
aw damn, haha i wish i thought about that or read that before. where can I get the apk for swype? if not i'll just reflash DL30. thanks!
What file is zipped, the one it says to install on my phone in the directions on post 1 is the red clockwork recovery file I downloaded.... the dl30 file is zipped but not this one....
That's correct there is no zip. It's the tar file you want. Have you tried to close ODIN and restart with your phone unplugged and then plug it in with the volume down? I've heard that using the same instance of ODIN over and over again is not a good idea. What file is zipped, the one it says to install on my phone in the directions on post 1 is the red clockwork recovery file I downloaded.... the dl30 file is zipped but not this one....
Try restarting first. Some apps, like VSuite, will give you FC's when you delete them but a restart clears it up.
I just restarted my puter and tried again but when I click pda and then the file it says invalid file type, I'm running windows 7, does this matter, and it doesnt do anything. Phone is yellow in ODIN.....
I'm sure, it says and I copied and pasted....CWMRecovery_DJ05_DL09_RED.tar.md5.
AND I just DL it again and it says the same when I click pda, invalid file type.....
Maybe he should try green clockwork
