So I was hyped for the Atrix, truly is a sweet phone... love the finger print reader. But hate ATT, Bloatware and I truly realized that the duel core is NOT FASTER! My friends Droid incredible is faster when you move around. I know it may be faster for some new apps coming out but by the time it's worth it next Nexus will be out. What do you guys think? Right decision?

The reason it doesn't seem fast is because most if not all the apps you tested are designed for single core. Its the same issue(s) you have on PC's right now that most apps are NOT designed for dual core CPU's and stuff.

I think you made the right decision. I saw the Nexus S at BestBuy yesterday and that screen is absolutely gorgeous. Plus you get a pure Android experience and not all of the AT&T bloatware.

By the way, does the Nexus S come with T-Mobile bloatware?

No T-Mo bloatware whatsoever :D

Motoblur is sorta like Sense, it can slow, the device down. Now, the Atrix has dual core but most apps do not support the second core, neither does Android, therefore the performance in the Android OS itself is unchanged, as if you still had a single core. Welcome though, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mines

I was actually planning to get the Atrix when it came out this month here in Canada but I just recently started looking into the Nexus S and I think I might change my mind. I don't think there's any info on the Rogers release date for the Nexus S but I am thinking of waiting for it and getting that instead of the Atrix. The only thing I've heard is that the Nexus S battery life is horrible. Are you happy with the battery on your Nexus S?

I have the inspire and as much as i love it there is nothing like the pure google experience I swapped my Nexus s for it because i hated being on edge when not on wifi im waiting with baited breath for the AT&T version to arrive so I can go back to the pure google

I also would like a version of Nexus S with AT&T bands, doubt it'll come soon though, everyone knows Google hates AT&T.

EDIT: To stay on topic here, the only reason I bought the Atrix instead of the Nexus S is the lack of 3G service the Nexus S has on AT&T's network. That being said, I still do like my Atrix, it's a solid phone.

Nexus S with AT&T bands passed the FCC on feb 12th and who says google hates AT&T? Nexus one went to AT&T 6 months after release

- 6 months is a decade in the world of mobile phones, I guess the word "soon" is a matter of opinion though.
- AT&T gimps it's smartphones, you'll probably never see a Nexus handset on AT&T first. Does Google hate AT&T? That's a strong choice of words I admit, I think I've made myself a little clearer though.

no contract, bought the phone on craigslist for $400 and have truly unlimited plan for total bill of $87 per month. Love it! Plus free hotspot tethering. Can't beat that.
