Lets clear things: How much screen on time are you getting on a charge?

(multi-selection) your average screen on time on a charge? your standby battery loss (if you know)

Ok I'll try it without Airplane mode and summit my results. Even though the Airplane mode on also my WiFi was on the whole time.

Airplane mode, sure you'll get those stats.

For me, between 2.5-3 hrs max since 5.1.1

Getting 5 hours on average, yesterday's was 4.5 hours but I had 23% battery left. Not getting any heating issues at all.

Are you doing anything special to get that screen on time? On my phone I have 3 email accounts, Facebook, instagram and snap chat. I also use Netflix as well as other TV services like Hulu HBO go and whatever else is Chromecast compatible. I'm on AT&T with the regular 128gb s6. I am lucky to get 6-8hrs with 2-3 screen on time. I've tried all the battery saving tips and nothing seems to work for the screen on time sometimes the standby time gets better but that us about it.

There are people turning off everything and dimming the screen to low brightness. I really don't understand why you would do that after shelling out so much money.

On a day with WiFi on for most of the day I get max 2.5 hrs of SOT.

With no WiFi it's worse.

It's quite bad in my opinion but what to do..

I have to turn location off , limit WiFi usage and use Greenify to get 3.5 - 4hrs SOT. With good cell signal i have had 6 hours SOT. Standby time is amazing with WiFi off and using the doze app, it can last more than 2 days.

Ok I did the test with Airplane mode off and Wifi on.
I also used the app "Stay Alive!" to keep the screen on the whole time while the phone was playing the video from youtube with 15% brightness.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I'm on Sprint - 3 lines all with S6 phones. None of use are getting more than 3 hours SOT. HOW are you all doing this? I refused to cripple my phone to get better battery life.

The T-Mobile version recently got an update and before this update I was also getting 3and a half hours of SOT.

I just checked for updates on Sprint and there was one. . .and it said battery usage optimization. I'm curious if it will help?

I get around 7 hours sot and tend to lose about 2% per 6 hours when the phone isn't being used, but didn't vote in the poll because there was no option for European users? :-\

I get around 3.25 hours. Heavy user though. Auto bright, bluetooth, wifi, LTE, location services, etc.

I'm usually streaming, listening to music or playing games.

I have a hard time believing anyone getting 11 hours of screen on time unless they severely restrict the phone use...even with Helper apps. Didn't make sense.

I hope I'm wrong.

I guess I had to vote 3-5 hours but really I get just slightly over 3 with lots of disabling. Location Off, bluetooth off, no auto syncing, brightness automatic, I have strong wifi all day and decent cell signal.

I guess I can buy someone getting 5-6 hours if they have disabled lots of stuff and getting really good cell signal. But people claiming 7-8 hours or beyond...sorry I don't believe you.
