Let's guess how long our JB official OTA will take!

Except for Google Now, speed, notifications, cleaned up menus, slightly sleeker UI, and general maturation of the OS.

Other than that, it's a small update. :)

I feel small. Lol

THIS. You could not have said it better. I'm all about tech, but I've spent enough time just reading how to root and unlock and all that other bull. I rather be out living my life than stuck in my room rooting. . . for what. I have a job. lol

I respect the rooters and ROM makers, but it isn't for me. I just want the dang update.

We will have JB at the ass end of this year or the beginning to the middle of next year:D

I'm going to go with the 5 to 6 month time frame.

The update will come at the very end of this year or next year for sure. Just sit back and enjoy the ride

You might be surprised it might get it first Verizon cares more about there new phone.

I do see the galaxy s3 on Verizon getting JB first.

The Verizon JB will come to the Verizon gnex but nobody knows when it could be tomorrow a year from now or never. They need to update there new phones and Droid line first.

We may never see jelly bean regardless what google says or the fact that its a nexus device.[/url]

Will get our ota after the galaxy s3 :)

So if next month comes and goes and we Nexus owners on Verizon still don't have the update or any word on it could it be Verizon has just giving up on this phone? Is there a possibility that JB won't come to this phone officially?

I agree with next year
Or maybe not at all. That is a possibility.

I could give two craps about the stock Verizon jelly bean. Its the radio software bundled in this turd-burger that I wanted. So, thank you verizon.

The radios have been available for some time in Zero Necks Radios thread in the Rooting section. Yes they are the official ones, same as in this OTA. :)

Two days. I've done all the tricks and still nothing. So aggravating! Maryland

I don't understand why anybody would have a developer's phone......and not root/rom it.

Seriously the general public gives no care about this phone, kills me to see people with the most capable, almost impossible to brick device and be afraid of root.

If stock updates are important to you, but a unlocked gsm version, not carrier supported....or get iPhone.

Re: Terrible Bluetooth sound quality since 4.0.4

We all have our reasons... I'm on stock locked again atm to deal with Verizon..

It's not as good but still a pretty awesome phone stock!

I still feel there is a real problem when 100 million iOS devices are update to iOS 6 in 4 days and Verizon can't even get all of the limited number gnex users on jelly bean yet.

Considering it took 8 hours for my mother/father to update to iOS6 (because of download times, etc.), I'd almost prefer Verizon's method :)
