LG G Pad 8.3 - Movies on SD cards?

Hi All!
I was told when I bought this that I would be able to store movies on an sd card to then play on the g-pad....but I can't find an sd card adaptor to go with the tablet...so how can I actually do this?
PS - bit of a dunce when it comes to technology, so use small words

Welcome to Android Central! You need to get a microSD card for the tablet, like this one: Dane-Elec 16GB microSDHC Card - Android Memory Cards. You'll see that it comes with a full-size SD card adapter--the microSD inserts into the adapter so that you can use it with your desktop or laptop computer. This is important, since transferring large movie files will be easiest if you put the microSD card into the computer's card reader; afterwards, you then remove the card, take the microSD card out of the adapter, and insert it into your tablet.

Definitely get a micro SD (class 10 recommended for faster read/write speeds)

ALso, i just got this bad boy and it works awesome to play movies in multiple devices without removing a micro sd card.
