I also bought my G3 on launch day. I did the form last week for the battery and got the approval email today saying watch for the shipping email.
Great that they are honoring it for all of us original purchasers.

I was an early adopter as well, and today sent the form, IMEI picture and receipt pdf. I already got the standard reply, which indicates final result within 5 days. Cruising my fingers. My battery life, frankly, is poor for a 3000mAh battery. It will be nice to have a second charged battery around.

I've read several reports of lots of people receiving them. Don't know what order LG is shipping, but I've heard nothing about mine shipping and I submitted the first day. Oh well. What's even more strange is that the batteries aren't even for sale on LG's website.

Sent an email and received the form a month ago. Filled it out took pics of receipt and iem number on box as instructed. We'll get back to you in 3 to 5 days. Have even sent another email asking the status of my request and nothing. Great customer service lg.

That's probably why you got denied. If you purchased the phone prior to the promo date, there is a different method you have to follow to submit your claim. I have a zip file linked in a previous post that has the proper form and instructions if you want to try and resubmit.
