funny this should come out now, i just finished installing thunderom about half an hour ago... i will NOT be restoring and updating.
Try unrooting with your guide and updating then you have to reroot and all that fun stuff,i've been fighting the hands free bug already.I just got done rerooting and haven't had a problem.
I think there's was a newer radio,i didn't really check meant to grab it but im not going back thru that mess.lol
Also zefie wasn't the boot.img the same as v9? I thought it said lge-blahblah#2.
it looked that way.
trying to figure out the hands free thing. I'm thinking something updated in the libraries/bins/framework because i didn't have this problem on stock.
That's gonna make custom roms fun.
ok after sprint refreshed my data services, it tried to update profile which left me a message that says
Cannot find the DMAccount information(33). Please try again later.
waiting on tech support now lol
does the radio software stay after a nandroid restore?
nadroid's don't touch radio's. As soon as i downgraded to v8 then flashed the v9 update from zefies thread it all went away im sitting typing this on my phone now with 3g blinging in the task bar.
Edit the second part of zefie's will flash the radio from the v9 ota.
i think we should find a way to be compatible with VC's baseband.
If you can grab a copy of the radio.img then we can play arouind with it,if not next time i got a bunch of time on my hands ill go back and grab it but that was not fun at all![]()
check your /cache for a zip if you did OTA
anyone else who does ota... when it says update available stop everything, enable adb debugging, look around /cache and pull the zip file BEFORE accepting it.
I didn't do mine that way i used lg software,or i would of grabbed it that's how we always did it on htc phones or just ran aLogcat from the market in the background and when the update come in it will give away the link to the zip.
Looks like ya'll are having fun.![]()
right, i did lg software too. i also snagged its temp files which were interesting. May lead to unbrick in the future.
Looks like ya'll are having fun.![]()
fun isn't the word >.>
LG went out of their way to remove root but not to fix anything else![]()
