LG V10 - Camera shots! Show us your pictures

Re: LG V10 picture thread

all these landscape pics are great, but I would really like to see some everyday pictures of night portrait, low light, indoor, party, club or restaurant type pictures. This is where these LED flash phones really struggle. I am coming from a NOKIA 808 with XENON so this is where I have always needed XENON flash.. in those type of situations. I am really itching to by a V10, but I really want to see how the great camera will perform under these conditions. I already know it takes great daytime and low light landscape (still) pics.. thanks!
There is no match for xenon flash but the V10 performs admirably. You still get the standard red eye using flash for portraits and things but without the flash you can get some really nice shots. If I get a chance I'll try and post some pics for the situations you requested. One thing though. That 1.8 aperture and 30 second exposure is the real deal. Well I guess that's two things but so far I'm impressed with the camera.

30 second exposure. Really lets in a ton of light. I think an nd8 filter would do wonders for these types of shots. Edited in Snapseed. I'm not sure if I caught a falling star or an airplane.uploadfromtaptalk1447039192539.jpg

It's been just over a year since I've been this impressed with a camera on a phone before. The Z3 was ok but it really is no match to the processing and manual prowess of this phone. I just want to to take pictures of everything which is exactly what I wanted to do when I had my Lumia 1020.

This is the second camera I've found capable enough of capturing a birthday party. It's not perfect by any means but I'm very pleased.uploadfromtaptalk1447120745595.jpguploadfromtaptalk1447120772810.jpguploadfromtaptalk1447120796062.jpguploadfromtaptalk1447120823061.jpg

If you are getting a white picture using flash either your subject is too close or your shutter speed is still too low like 4-8 seconds. Depending on how dark the room is and your ISO settings even 1/15 1/30 can be too slow as well. What are your settings now? Depending on how dark the room is you may want to manually set your focus first when the scene can still be seen in the phone and then adjust ISO and shutter speeds after that.

Also is anyone able to see pictures in this thread? I'm starting to get the incomplete image symbol show up but I can see my pictures just fine.

That's weird. I'm still not getting most of the pictures after #30 except for my own.
