LG V10 overheating cellular radio

Found in the Location Settings LG IMS was getting a HIGH. So I looked and found a thread that this is related to VoLTE. So my theory and it would fit is that when roaming the phone finds great LTE service but is trying really hard for VoLTE services not available/compatible when roaming on the Telus or Bell networks in Canada.
Some info on:
[Q] What is LG IMS (com.lge.ims)? | LG G2
So I have disabled VoLTE and will report back within the hour...

This didn't help. No need to wait an hour.

I'm going to post a series of screen shots and if you can post something similar from your phone that would help a lot. Also, anything that is high in on the list in battery use, click on it and post as well.

Here is what that would look like.

I had a similar issue with exchange services. It ended up being an LG update that fixed it. LG has their own exchange services app that is updated via about phone /update center /apps.

Not to be rude but that doesn't tell anyone anything that would help diagnose the problem.

Look at the 6-8 posts above yours and post similar screen shots, and please post them all in 1 post and not just one picture per post.

Mod Note - Please do not post 1 picture per post (multiple can be added at a time). If you're having issues please let us know via the Site Feedback section.

Thanks.

Android Central app - when posting and attaching multiple images only the last image posts.

Android Central app on Android only posting single image. Frustrating.

Understandable. Can you make sure you report it with the site feedback as asked for by the mod?

I personally use the AC forums app when I am posting/browsing.

I had another idea. Before I put my 4500 contacts on Gmail, I also put them on outlook.com because I intended to get a Microsoft Lumia 950xl. I was very surprised to find out that the contacts in Outlook 10 didn't appear in the online Microsoft contacts. However, they did appear in Google, so I ended up with the LG V10.

So, I just erased 4500 contacts from outlook.com because of the possible drain on Exchange services, maybe that was the problem. I'll let you know if it makes a difference. Why is it not having the same effect on my G Pad F 8?

That's a lot of contacts especially if you have them set to sync. That could easily be the issue. I know you deleted them but you should probably also go in and turn off sync for contacts with Outlook as well.
