Has anyone tried other camera apps from PlayStore? I was able to install pixel camera apk and it seems to be able to click pictures, however the hdr mode is missing.

Ever since the V10 I have usually stuck to the stock camera app since its that good. I'm sure there are some other worthy apps but I live right in the manual mode.

Camera fv5 has manual mode and that's about it.
But how is the interface? I tried to use it a long time ago but the UI was so putting off to me that I just couldn't get into it. Also I know of Manual Camera and Pro Shot which both have beautiful and well designed UIs but I havent used either enough.

Totally agree to the massive amount of control through the stock camera app, I was thinking more on the lines where for normal point and shoot scenario, another app works out better.

Nonetheless, quite positive about the camera being as good as the pictures in this thread show it to be, the phone was delivered late evening, so haven't found many opportunities to click yet.

I have, but always come back to the stock app. I shoot mostly manual, and it's superbly designed for that.

The interface isn't that great.

Sometimes I mess around with other apps but always come back to the stock app. It's the best one, or maybe I've been in LG's ecosystem too long.

Went out tonight for a few shots with the tripod. I really love this spot they just built up just this year especially with the Christmas lights. I always feel like I don't get exactly what I wanted but I'm happy with the few I captured. Edited in Lightroom Mobile from RAW. I will also be uploading these onto the computer to see what I can get from Photoshop Elements in the RAW editor.

Playing with the panorama function with our tree. The original resolution before being compressed here is 4480X9152 (41MP), at 8.46MB.

HI RaRa85;5597728,

What exactly are you doing to these in Snapped. Are you shooting raw and processing? Looks great!
Thank you! Yes I'm shooting RAW and processing the image. For the first pic I just edited to my liking and then used the lens blur feature to try to draw the eyes into a focal point. In the second pic I used the HDR Scape filter.
