LG's bootloop issue?

SO far, no bootloop issues with my current V20 (thank god.). However, battery consumption is still pretty bad on my V20. Sending only few WhatsApp messages will make the battery drop by 1%. Sometimes, light surfing can hurt the battery consumption too.

As this is probably with many phones. I have a note 5 and the battery is not so great. I understand lol

My V20 had bootloop issues. It happened to many others as well, but not as big of a deal as the V10 was. See links below.

It's all over the internet and youtube of people having issues. Like I said, I had it happen too.

What stories I know several people who had G4s that bootlooped. My co-worker had two G4s that bootlooped. I never met anyone with a V10 so I can't comment on V10 issues.

I have never heard of bootloops on G5s, V20s or G6s. I am sure there will be no bootloop issues with the V30. I do think it is time to move on. LG'S current phones Do Not Have Bootloop issues.

What a bold assertion this poster made.
Specifically "I am sure there will be no bootloop issues with the V30"...

Approximately 1 year after this declarative post my 3 month old V30 got stuck in a bootloop. Verizon's response stated this is a known issue with this model phone and there's nothing that can be done except to replace the unit.

It's hardly a known issue with the V30.

I have had my V30 since it was first introduced and I have had no bootloop issues. For Verizon to claim it is a known issue is complete BS.
Yeah, usually it's the other way around. Even when the G4 owners were hammering them about the bootloop problem, it took Verizon forever to finally acknowledge it as a known issue.

Dunno if it was mentioned, but the G4 bootloop issue was caused by the faulty processor. It got some kind of thermal fatique and this sealed it's fate. Same processor issue was found in the LG produced Nexus 5X.

The V30 uses the same processor as all the other flagships of last year (Qualcom Snapdragon 835 IIRC). I honestly don't think, you'll run into any problems with it or we would have heard from this across all the platforms...
