I have an S9 (845 on At&t) and my security functions aren't working. I opened my lock screen using biometrics earlier when I was out & then when I went to wake up my phone again it required nothing but a swipe... I checked to see if my settings were the same and they are - I switched it to PIN to check and still doesn't require me to do anything but swipe. I wasn't at a trusted site & even erased my home. I restarted my phone and that didn't help either.

Has anyone experienced this issue or have any ideas on how to correct it?

Well, you’ve already eliminated a “trusted places” issue, and that’s what I would’ve checked first. Are you connected to a trusted bluetooth device?

This happened to my sons S9+ and he had somehow enabled smart lock on body detection.

Wasn't this but your post lead me to check my secure lock settings and somehow the secure lock time was 30 minutes... I've never adjusted this so its peculiar. Thank you!
