lose apps on sd card after hard reboot?

Does anyone know if there is a way to continue to play the ongoing games I have saved on my phones SD card after a hard reboot? I've seen threads for other phones and it appears that even if you have the data stored on your SD card you can't continue the game after the reboot?

N5 doesn't have an SD card. But for the most part, if its a game where you used your Gmail account those games will have the data restored. There are some games that don't follow that protocol. The best thing to do is to reinstall the game and log into them. Hopefully you can restore your saved game because I know the feeling of losing all of that time you've put into it.
