love francos kernel

The app also now has options for "Increase maximum sound volume." Haven't tried it yet, but that could be a game changer for some people in the Nexus forums that seem to think the volume levels on the Nexus is the biggest issue facing society right now.

1. Nukes in Iran

2. Mounting federal debt

3. Massive unemployment

4. Low volumes on Nexus.

Clearly it's the #1 issue our modern world faces. I don't know how I still get up in the morning.

Impressive that you can hear your alarm to wake up!

I do use volume+ because music is very quiet even in an empty room without it. I've never had problems with the alarm though. I should try uninstalling volume+ and see if Franco's will do the trick.

Latest BuglessBeast combined with Franco's kernal @ 1350 mhz.

This isnt a hostile comment ... just an observation ...

Ever notice how every time you run a quadrant score your phone always wins? ;)

is safe to use 1350 max cpu?

is recommended to use min cpu 350 with max cpu 1350 (ondemand) ?

is safe and recommended to use hotplug mod enabled? thx

i'm using aokp

Yes, it's safe to run at 1350Mhz. I've had no issues doing so, if you don't include the shortened battery life.

Has anyone tried Milestone 1? Thoughts? Great marks up ^^ there!

That is milestone 1. ;)

Actually my GNEX scored the same as the one listed on that screenshot w/o Franco's kernel on bugless beast.

Just re-ran the benchmark @ 1350 min and max with cpu set to performance and scored 3304...

To be honest though, I don't run any power hungry apps, unless you consider the browser power hungry. I just set mine to conservative, 350min/1200max and it still scores 2900. It's silky smooth and very responsive.

I just unlocked, rooted, went to 4.04 and Franco's kernel last night.

My led notifications are not working now. Don't know if it is 4.04 of the kernel. I am using light flow.

Also, the wifi connection and radios seem to be working much better at my house now. Great. But now I am losing connectivity at work, in a stronger signal area, more frequently. I do like 4.04 better but have to decide if I want to go back to 4.02 radios.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling light flow?

i had so many problems with light flow being inconsistent - uninstalled/reinstalled, tried different versions, - i ultimately abandoned it and now use Blink. Less features but at least it works consistently.
