Love or Hate your Galaxy Note 3?

Just upgraded to a Note 3 from htc vivid. So far I'm liking it. I still need to mater all other cool features. No doubt it's the fastest phone I've owned.

Loving my Note3 (moved up from a Note so it's an incremental improvement). It's an amazing device. My only concern so far is that I am not seeing expected performance increases from the beast battery.

Love mine had every iPhone since the original iPhone ready for a change happy I made the switch

I love mine. I tried the note 2 for a few months and went back to the iPhone. However with the note 3 I haven't looked back. I love it

Let me tell you one thing first, i used to hate samsung phones and i still do. Nearly all of them look same, one design stretched out to accommodate different screen sizes. On the top of that, i used to hate touchwiz. But this one is a real looker and true multitasking machine. This is not just every other flagship smartphone, it has a league of it's own where devices are meant to replace your laptop and offer productivity like a pocket pc. Even the touchwiz on my note 3 feels almost like IOS due to it's lagfree performance. Being a power user, i had to ditch my beloved motorola atrix 2 as it was starting to show its age. I was almost on the verge of going for an iphone 5s when i had a hands on experience with my friend's note 3. I simply couldn't stop admiring it silently while my friend was giving a quick demo of his new purchase. I got it the very next day and falling in love with my note 3 ever since. Looking one year ahead, we might see 64 bit processors, more overclocked cpu, better graphics performance as a norm. But at that time also, i'll know that i have a rich and unique spectrum of powerful features in my note 3 that no other device can match, except for note 4 or 5 maybe!

I'm loving mine so far. Only been using it a week or so. To be honest I agree with the above poster about not being so crazy about Samsung designs, their build quality really leaves a lot to be desired but to be fair, their phones come really light and small for their screen sizes, seriously. My Note 3 is barely any harder to use one-handed than my old Lumia 920 and that one only had a 4.5 inch screen. I'm getting a whopping 1.2 more inches of screen real-estate in a lighter and thinner package which is incredible. Not to mention it houses a stylus.

As far as performance goes, my previous phone was a 4G Galaxy S3 and I had such a positive experience with that one that I was determined to stick with Samsung when I decided to upgrade to a phablet. I didn't consider any other phone except for the Note 3 seeing as my S3 was with me for 14 months and performed amazingly, no reboots, no freezing, best battery life I've ever had on a phone, etc. The only negatives I had with that phone EVER were 2 things, one is that it fried one of my 64gb sd cards so I stopped using sd cards altogether, and the other was that I found hyper glaze hard to keep flawless.

In the end the very short list of cons were easily trumped by the huge list of pros I've had with my experience with Samsung so I think I'll be sticking with the Note line for the foreseeable future. Go phablets! Go big screens! XD

I also bought one of these cases to up the aesthetics a bit, should be getting here soon. I'll let you guys know in the case thread how they go. Should've done this for my old S3 but oh well lol.

I did like mine for the time I had it, until I sold it cause of the possible screen cracking without dropping it....

I Love my Note 3!!
The only problem I have with it, once I pick it up I can't put it down! Therefore I never get anything else done!

I LOVE my Note3. I was curious as how I would adapt to such a lagre screen at first....NO PROBLEMS with adapting (SMILE). I also have the iPhone 5s....WOW what a difference. The 5s is being used less and less these days, needless to say. The Note3 is an AWESOME device. I'm still trying to figure out why it's not part of Android Central's "Top Forums"?

I was thinking that recently.
Why do we have to scoot down the list when reopening AC?
We should have pride of place on the top.
S5, HTC M8, Z2, LG Pro 2 owners can squabble for 2nd position when they arrive. (Sorry Moto X, G2, Z1).

Early Note 4 owners can laud it over us when that comes.

Come on AC, aren't we top of the tree?

(here we go........ - - > )

Love my note 3 but unfortunately i have to use another provider as my Note is Sim locked {yes i tried region lock away} that didn't work. So using my Nexus 5 until i get it unlocked.

I've never heard of this? This is really a thing? Seems kind of like an over reaction to sell a phone you like based on some freak think that will, in all probability, never happen to you

Like with @kj11 I was thinking of asking why as well. I remember someone put a thread on this happening.
Happy to hear if Alain you noticed a tiny crack or something, and thought it might spread.
I respect your decision, and it's easy to make jokes about it, more likely to experience a meteor strike etc..
You did what was best for you. Maybe you will buy another at some time.
Still missing it I bet.

There is a thread on here about the screen cracking and I'm positive the person is referring to that. People's screen cracked due to overheating or something else unknown.

I love my Note 3. If I didn't have to hop onto my Macbook, this phablet would be the only thing to use! There are some quirky things but that's okay beause there are more pros than cons. It's a beautiful device. :D
