I know this is impossible to predict when and where the next cities will be switch to LTE, but has there been any word from AT&T on what their estimation for complete coverage would be? I live in a small town in Kentucky, not too far from Lexington. I realize we aren't anywhere close to getting LTE, but I wonder if we will get it in the next 2 years? If not, I won't even bother considering LTE as an important feature of my next device upgrade. I don't travel very much, so if LTE isn't coming to my area for another few years I won't see it on my next phone.

Well, nothing in Kentucky is listed for their spring rollout -

And unless you can find someone that has insider information, it's hard to guess how long it will be. I'm sure they will still be working on it well into 2013. Either way, I think most if not all the mid to high end smartphones coming out in the future from AT&T will have LTE built in.

Thanks. Yeah, I had wondered about LTE being on every new phone from here on out. Oh well.
