Don't stress... I mean, 5.0 is pretty nice and all, but its not like it will start spitting gold coins out of the USB port or make you breakfast. Kitkat is still a pretty good OS, you aren't suffering.

Yeah, the only nice perks are the notifications system and I really like the animations.

I have a UK / European unlocked M8. Can anyone tell me if the ROM for unlocked/developer edition 4.16.1540.8 on HTC US website be the same version as the European software upgrade? Wondering if 4g would suit a European M8, silly question I know! Currently running 3.28.401.9...

Lollipop is definitely not worth losing sleep over. Very laggy, a lot of apps force close and just a lot of bugs. I would love to have 4.4 back. It was very smooth with no issues.

Maybe that's the reason for the release being delayed in Europe so far. Apparently it's still being worked on according to HTC

For the record it is not laggy gfor me. Its fast and crisp.
If you think it's laggy its because you have too many processor hogs running.

And its not useful to speculate about release dates in different countries. This happens every release. It's always been that way.

I'm also having some issues with Lag with certain apps and maybe a random stutter on the UI.
There is a noticeable delay when sending sms now where 4.4.4 was nearly instant.

It looks great and I love what they've added but I do feel like it feels a little unfinished or like a beta product.
