Major G3 firmware update on the way?

Art runtime makes my uk g3 run very unstable. Im on v10j and when using the phone with dalvik its running pretty impressive so once the official lollypop update has been released for us i bet it smokes most things out there

Hey Leo what is cloudy? I have a T-Mobile G3 and I'd like to download the update. Lack of wifi calling doesn't bother me, I already have it turned off lol

It's a stock based rom, built of the international G3. UPDATE: I realized I didn't include the link XDA : [ROM][Oct 28] -=- CloudyG3 1.1 -=- [All Variants]

There are a few subtle differences between the INT version and the US stuff... the Int has more animations, some different ringtones, some Google and LG apps are not installed by default (for instance the LG Update Tool isn't installed). This is one of those "read the thread before you flash" operations.

Not sure why the international 10m (which CloudyG3 is based on) is so much better than the US Tmo 10m.... it's night and day.

P.S. You'll need to be rooted and have a custom recovery installed (Make backups!). If you've flashed custom ROMs before, then you're good to go.. otherwise, start researching.

Thanks for the tips Leorex. After I asked you about it I realized it must be a rom and so I started searching it out. I've been romming for a long time so I know what to watch out for. So far I'm really enjoying it. And you're right there are some subtle differences in the software.
